At the Rethink 2021 conference and showcase expo held on 5-6 October at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, stakeholders converged to explore sustainable development for Hong Kong.

At the event’s solution showcase, Guardforce presented the kitchen waste recycling bin and Virusguard robotics solution

The kitchen waste recycling bin, introduced recently in response to the government’s kitchen waste recycling initiative, is able to automatically weigh disposed content and record recycled volume for individual users, supported by user identification by card or QR code. The solution will facilitate property management companies’ task in collecting kitchen waste at residential developments, using the government’s kitchen waste recycling subsidy efficiently.

Smart robots are at hand to take over repetitive and hazardous tasks and contribute to enhancing operational efficiency. Guardforce’s Virusguard can automatically and regularly disinfect any space to support public health.

Rethink 2021 gained positive response, and participants were able to access various sustainable development innovative solutions and information. Through interaction with attendees, Guardforce also gained insights into customers’ needs for waste recycling and robotics. We look forward to presenting an extensive range of solutions for sustainable development again in next year’s show.
