We are pleased to announce that the ExBrain cognitive training device with real-time neurofeedback technology, powered by Japan’s NeU Corporation and carried by Guardforce in Hong Kong and Macau, was a winner of the 9th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards. The awards are hailed as the Oscar of the eldercare industry, and Exbrain won in the category Innovation Of The Year – Dementia Technology Solution. 

The solution was selected as one of the finalists in September, out of 200 submissions. The 9th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards Ceremony was held physically in Singapore and broadcast virtually globally on 3 December 2021 during the finale of the Ageing Asia 2021 – World Ageing Festival (Oct – Dec) – The Hybrid Edition. In all, 111 award finalists from 13 countries were recognized. This year the finalist entries were judged by an international committee of 24 judges who are distinguished industry experts from Australia, Hong Kong SAR, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, New Zealand, the USA, the UK and Singapore. They selected the winners via an interactive virtual judging format over 3 days in October.

The award has given us huge encouragement to bring in more quality products to serve the elderly care sector in Hong Kong and Macau.
