Guardforce is honored to have been invited to join the speaker line-up of the 4^th Asia Summit on Global Health, Asia’s premier event on health innovation and investment. The  two-day event, held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 16 & 17 May 2024, was jointly organised by the HKSAR Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.

The event serves as a one-stop cross-disciplinary platform bringing together policymakers, healthcare experts, renowned academia, influential business leaders, key industry players, innovative start-ups and investors from around the world to exchange insights, explore opportunities and collaborate in the diverse and dynamic healthcare arena.

Guardforce’s General Manager of Business Strategy and Transformation cum Director of GF Technovation, Mr Steven Leung, joined the panel of speakers on 17 May, moderated by Dr. Lam Ching-choi, SBS, JP, sharing the stage with the four others speakers who are the experts in the field with international background.

Under this year’s theme 'Innovation. Inclusion. Impact.”, Mr  Leung shared his thoughts on the importance of healthy aging and its impact on individuals and society, current challenges and trends in aging and care, and how innovation and technology can enhance safety, comfort and the quality of life for the elderly.

He also gained insights from other leaders in the industry, and hoped to make a concerted effort together with counterparts to push forward more innovations aimed at enhancing the overall wellness and health of the elderly.
